Some of our projects

We have been involved as a partner in research projects since the early 1990s. This has included technical, managerial, and dissemination roles. One of our team is also an experienced research project coordinator having looked after several multi-million Euro industrial projects. If you have a gap in your project team and our skills match your needs, we'd be very happy to talk to you about becoming a partner.

We are currently involved in several large EU projects as the primary outreach and communication partner (and we’re hopeful of several more in the pipeline). Our role is to maximise the visibility of the project to the general public and to industry and academia. Our services can include representation at conferences and exhibitions, production of high-quality promotional videos and graphics, organisation of promotional events, and engagement with key stakeholders and policy makers. More information is given below.

FoodTraNet

Marie Curie Advanced Training Network

FoodTraNet is a new advanced Marie-Curie training network for globally important topics in food quality, safety, and security. It is coordinated by the Jozef Stefan Institute in Ljubljana, Slovenia, and comprises 8 academic and 2 industrial partners across 7 locations in Europe.

WRG Europe were instrumental in the development and optimisation of the bid and, ultimately, its successful outcome. WRG is the primary communications and exploitation partner for FoodTraNet, ensuring the project becomes visible to the academic and industrial communities as well as ensuring any technologies developed by ESRs can find suitable exploitation routes.

We are also one of the 15 ESR project hosts. WRG's Associate Director, Dr Vicky Edkins, is the main supervisor of ESR Project 15 "Consumer Awareness and Perception". Please visit the project website here for more information.

ToSynFuel

Advanced biofuels from sewage sludge

TO-SYN-FUEL is a project funded by Horizon 2020 EU’s research and innovation programme, with the aim to build-up, operate and demonstrate the production of advanced bio-fuels and green hydrogen from sewage sludge.

WRG Europe Ltd is the primary outreach and dissemination partner, and industrial liason. We are creating a comprehensive series of informational videos to support the project and to connect with industry and the general public. We are also working to promote the project through ambitious public engagement events and news/media coverage. News and our current informational videos for ToSynFuel can be found on our dedicated project page here.

flexjet

green aviation biofuels from waste biomass

flexJET is a four-year project funded by the European Commission within Horizon 2020. The flexJET project is diversifying the feedstock for sustainable aviation fuel (SAF) beyond vegetable oils and fats to biocrude oil produced from a wide range of organic waste. This is also one of the first technologies to use green hydrogen from the processed waste feedstock for the downstream refining process thereby maximising greenhouse gas savings.

As with ToSynFuel, WRG Europe is the primary outreach and dissemination partner. Similarly we will be producing a range of informational videos and engagement events to connect with the general public, industry, and stakeholders. News and our current informational videos for flexJET can be found on our dedicated project page here.
