frequently asked questions

HOW DOES THE PROPOSAL PREPARATION WORK?

Our support varies dependant on your needs. This can be as little as a review of final drafts (which is not advised as often larger structural problems cannot be addressed) through to 24/7 telephone/skype support (where we advise on how to improve the document but only take a minor role in rewriting) through to complete drafting of research proposals (although this still requires engagement from academics to ensure the technical/subject specific components are accurate and the proposed work aligns with the academic goals).

HOW MUCH DO THE VARIOUS SUPPORT PACKAGES COST?

This depends on a number of factors including time to deadline, form of support, application size, and stage of application. It varies from a few hundred pounds/euros equivalent rate to over 5 figures for major engagement and retained, continuous, ongoing support. Please contact us with what you require and we can give you a quote.

ARE YOU REALLY AVAILABLE 24/7?

You can contact us at any time, weekends and evenings are not a problem and this is all included in the cost of our services. Of course there will be some times when we are not available but these are the exception as opposed to the rule.

ARE YOU COMFORTABLE WITH NON UK/EU APPLICATIONS?

While UK and EU funding platforms are the mainstay of our business, we have a worked with major funding applications from Asia, Africa, North America, South America, and Australia, so we would be more than happy to talk to you about non-EU/UK funding.

DO YOU EVER TURN AWAY APPLICATIONS?

We don’t turn away applications. However, we do let clients know before we begin if we do not expect the application to be competitive for any reason. If they want to continue despite our advice (to gain further experience and practice for instance) then we will continue to supply full optimisation and support at our normal high level.

HOW MANY APPLICATIONS DO YOU WORK WITH EACH YEAR?

Hundreds.

DO YOU WORK WITH EVERY DISCIPLINE?

Yes we have managed, supported, and written applications from every research discipline.
